Founded in 1996 by H. Dale Contant, CR, as Sun-Fun Remodeling Inc., our company built a reputation as a quality provider of remodeling services. Our projects began as "outdoor" remodeling specialties: decks, screened porches, three-season rooms, arbors, room additions, etc. We have always taken pride in the high level of customer support delivered to each project. In recent years, our skills and expertise have expanded! Ceramic tile and cabinetry have been added to our list of specialties. Our talents extend beyond the outdoor arena to also include: bathroom renovations, master-bath suite renovations, total kitchen remodeling, basement renovations and whole-house renovations! Recognition received for our award-winning designs also established us as a full-service design/build organization, able to meet all customer requirements with our in-house design team.

With over a dozen employees, we are a fully insured, award-winning design/build contractor. We have been featured in Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine as well as on HGTV's DIY to the Rescue show. Determined to stay at the forefront of our industry, we are members of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA), the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), and the Remodelers Advantage Roundtable. Dale is credentialed as a Certified Remodeler (CR) through NARI. Our Sales/Estimating, Project Management and Design team members are certified in EarthCraft House building, a program through the HBA in partnership with the Southface Energy Institute which addresses ways to make your home more energy efficient and to improve the indoor air quality.

Meet Us

H. Dale Contant, President & Owner
With over 30 years experience and training in various architectural/drafting design, construction and cutting-edge technology, Dale has received extensive recognition at both the local and national level for remodeling project design. He stays very active in the industry and currently serves as the Vice President for the Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Recognized by the NARI Certification Program as demonstrating a high level of competency and ethical standards and by subscribing to rigorous procedures and tests, Dale has earned Certified Remodeler (CR) credentials. He also serves as NARI's President for the 2006-2007 year. Additionally, Dale participates in the Remodelers' Advantage Roundtables, an industry think-tank for top remodelers dedicated to addressing industry-wide problems. This helps to keep him on the leading edge of the industry, and exposes him to ways to continually improve services and products our company offers. Dale volunteers his time to the Remodelers for Education and Crisis Housing (REACH) Program that focuses on remodeling different shelters for those in need throughout the Atlanta area. In his spare time, Dale enjoys time with his wife and four children going to soccer games, boating, golfing and traveling.

Mike Pike, Production Field Manager
Mike has been in the business for 22 years and has managed job crews for 10+ years. He brings to the table hands-on experience and knowledge to make your dreams a reality. He and Dale worked together at a sun room company until beginning Sun Fun Remodeling in 1996. Since then, Mike has also gotten involved with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and has earned their credentials as a Certified Lead Carpenter. Mike, his wife and 2 children make their home in Dallas, Ga. Mike's eldest daughter lives in California.

Guy LaMarca, General Manager
Guy originally hails from Florida and has been at Atlanta Design and Build since 1998. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Business Administration, Guy also studied Autocad. His initial experience with CADD was with a petroleum engineering firm. He then made the move to residential remodeling. Guy is also a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and stays involved in the local Atlanta chapter. Guy has also been through the NARI Certification Program and has earned the Certified Remodeler (CR) credentials. Likewise, he participates with Dale in the Remodelers' Advantage Roundtables. Guy is a married, father of one and has called Atlanta home since 1996.
