Your renovation project begins with our HOMEStyle™ Discovery process. We don’t just dig in and make assumptions about where the walls should go, or what kind of cabinets you should have. We begin by learning more about you and your lifestyle. How are you already using the existing space in your home? What kind of cooking do you do? Are you a gourmet chef? Or is dinner what you’ve picked up from your favorite deli? How many people will be using that bathroom? Is the TV used mostly for ballgames, or movies, or the news? As your household expands and changes, how do you envision using your living space in the future? What are your short-term and long-term goals for your home? Once we’ve discovered how your home must function to meet your deep needs and desires, we’re ready to move on to the next step.
INSPIREDDesign
The information gathered during our DEEPDiscovery process is then given to our experienced design team. Our designers’ objective is to create a design that not only is beautiful, but also enhances how you live, work and play at home. Designers over the past century have debated whether design should be about form or function. The INSPIREDDesign component of our HOMEStyle™ system brings both these approaches together. We feel that the truly inspired design is impressive to see; but underlying it, every element in your home is perfectly suited and perfectly placed to facilitate the life you would like to live in that space. The design process can be determined by scope and budget considerations, so that as you fall in love with the concept, you also know it is well within your reach.
MASTERPlan
With the design complete, now is the time to develop your MASTERPlan where all aspects of your project are planned and prioritized, based on your goals, timeline and budget. We help you consider a variety of possibilities since there is always potential for finding that perfect solution you may not have considered. How can your entire home be renovated when it’s not in the budget right now? Your home transformation could involve multiple projects, each a part of your original design, but performed over a period of time comfortable for you. With the HOMEStyle™ MASTERPlan we’ll get everything squared away at the beginning, so it will be perfectly clear to all what you can expect and what we can reasonably provide. That way, as we go through the project we can all expect smooth sailing—as much as any remodeling project can allow.
BUILDINGPrinciples
The BUILDINGPrinciples component of our HOMEStyle™ system reveals the core of Atlanta Design & Build’s character. We are constantly at work building into our DNA the idea that no one in Atlanta Design & Build is just “doing a job.” Every task to which we apply our minds and our hands is completed in such a way that it provides lasting value for our clients. When your remodeling project is complete we’ll look back and take pride in the fact that the materials used were the best ones for the purpose within the scope of your project. You will see that the workmanship didn’t just meet basic standards; it exhibited real craftsmanship.

Our purpose is to enrich your life through the transformation of your home. Both during and after the transformation process, we want to make sure that you have a very positive experience. We realize that if we have truly captured your needs and dreams and have built them into your home, your experience in that house will be richly rewarding.
We do, however, recognize that during any sort of home renovation things can get a little messy. A lot of decisions need to be made and demands met. Things get torn apart and dust is generated. You will temporarily lose the use of things you’ve been accustomed to. We know you are willing to put up with a certain amount of this for the sake of the completed project. But under normal circumstances, no one describes this as being pleasant!
We can’t avoid all of the inconveniences, but we’ve worked out many strategies to minimize your discomfort and, in many instances, transform them into an experience that is actually enjoyable. For example, we deal with the stress that you may face when confronted by the myriad of decisions to be made about flooring and lighting and countertops and paint, etc. by offering personal shopping assistance. Along with the benefit of getting help from an expert who knows the ins and outs of each product, you are likely to gain a friend in the process.
As you have probably noticed already, our entire HOMEStyle™ system is based on strong communication. We are committed to listening and probing to discover how your home can best serve the life you want to live. During both the design and build phases of the process, we stay in close communication with you to make sure we are all progressing in the right direction and that the experience remains positive. Even after the project is finished, we stay in touch with you to make sure you continue to receive the lasting value we’ve built into your home. By that time we also have an additional reason to want to stay in touch: we’ve gained new friends!
